Good food shouldn’t go to waste

Every Tuesday from 4pm, The Bevy offers free FairShare food to anyone who can make use of it. The food changes every week depending on what has been donated, but you might find fresh fruit and vegetables, soups, cupboard essentials, coffee pods, custard powder and plenty more. It’s all perfectly good food that would otherwise go to waste, and everyone is welcome to come along.

Helping food go further

The FairShare service is about making good food available to local people while reducing waste. There’s no catch and no judgement. Simply pop in, see what’s available and take what you need. Some weeks there’ll be lots to choose from, other weeks there’ll be a little less, but every visit helps make sure good food ends up on people’s tables instead of in the bin.

What to expect

• Free food available every Tuesday from 4pm.
• A different selection each week, including fresh produce and cupboard essentials.
• A simple way to reduce food waste and support the local community.
• Everyone gets the same warm welcome.
