Disability Disco

A proper night out, once a month

The Disability Disco takes over The Bevy on the third Friday of every month for an evening of music, dancing, karaoke and good food. It’s organised and run by members of the disabled community themselves, who help shape everything from the music and entertainment to the atmosphere on the night. Friends, families, carers and neighbours are all welcome, because a great night out is even better when everyone joins in.

Turn the music up

DJ Steve keeps the tunes coming all evening, the karaoke gets everyone involved and the dance floor is rarely empty. Some people are up dancing from the first song, others sing along from their seats, catch up over dinner or simply enjoy being part of the atmosphere. Food is served from 6pm until 8pm, giving everyone the chance to grab a bite to eat before the party gets into full swing. It’s relaxed, welcoming and full of familiar faces, with the people who come every month helping make each disco what it is.

What to expect

• DJ Steve playing great music throughout the evening.
• Karaoke, dancing and plenty of crowd favourites.
• Freshly prepared food served from 6pm until 8pm.
• A brilliant night out, organised with and led by the disabled community, where everyone gets the same warm welcome.
